Since 2013, Currently Online has provided a multi-game community for thousands of gamers.

With stable leadership and a dedicated group of officers, CO will continue to grow and thrive through the next decade.

Our History

Currently Online was established in 2013, during the Mists of Pandaria expansion in World of Warcraft. By 2015 Currently Online had grown to the largest WoW guild in the world, with over 13,000 members spread across 15 sub-guilds and multiple satellite clans in other games; CO had become a thriving and active community, but that was just the beginning.

No one could have anticipated what it would become. We were just 5 dudes trying to clear content, and before we knew it, we were running a community with thousands of active members.

Currently Online Today

Since our days of WoW-centric operations, Currently Online has expanded and evolved. Although we’re no longer the worlds largest WoW guild by a long shot, we’re proud to be an expansive multi-game community, providing clans and guilds for an array of popular titles.

Our current community revolves around Discord, and using that as our community hub, we can provide a constant flow of activity to our members. At Currently Online you can expect constant events both in and out of game, social events like Discord drinking nights, and competitions/giveaways with awesome prizes! Even if you don’t decide to join any of our clans, just hanging out in Discord with us is sure to be a great time.

In-game, we offer clans for popular multiplayer titles like World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy XIV, Diablo, RuneScape, and more! In addition to our standard clan offerings, we occasionally put up servers for other games in line with community demand. In the past we’ve operated servers for titles such as Minecraft, 7 Days to Die, The Forest, Ark, and more!

The website doesn’t have a search function anymore, because people kept searching for pictures of Meefy naked.

THE FUTURE OF CURRENTLY ONLINE

In recent years, our focus has been on returning to our roots. In the future, we’ll continue to pursue our original goals of being a friendly, active, and overall social community, where gamers of all walks can find a home.

No matter what games we expand to, what servers we host, or what events we plan, we will always be just a group of friends fucking around in comms. The years will never change the relationships we’ve made, and the amazing people we’ve met along the way. We hope you’ll join us, and be part of this journey.
